• Our Lady of Good Counsel High School will continue with its distance learning program. The final day of the 2019-2020 school year will be Friday, May 29, 2020.

• 2020 summer camps have been canceled. The College Applications 101 course for rising Good Counsel seniors will be delivered through online instruction.




Good Counsel High School is actively monitoring the outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus termed “COVID-19". Very rapidly, the virus has been detected in numerous countries including the United States.

At this time, there are confirmed cases in the State of Maryland. Good Counsel is in regular communication with county and state health officials and will share additional information on this web page as it becomes available.

Governor Larry Hogan has announced numerous actions and executive orders to protect the public’s health and limit the spread of COVID-19, including a stay at home order, and a requirement to wear face coverings in retail establishments and on public transportation.

Governor Larry Hogan and State Superintendent of Schools Dr. Karen Salmon announced that all public schools will remain closed until the end of the year.
