Five French Mother Sauces
Description | Learning the Five Mother Sauces may seem intimidating but once you know the simple steps to create them, it will boost your confidence in the kitchen for a more enjoyable cooking experience. Each class will conclude with a delicious meal.
- Night 1 | Five Mother Sauces
Students learn to prepare Béchamel, Velouté, Espagnole, Tomato, and Hollandaise sauces. - Night 2 | Modern Sauces
In this class, students will learn techniques like Reduction, Emulsification, and Pure, which will allow you to make your own high-end restaurant quality salad dressings and sauces to go with meat, fish, poultry and vegetables that you may use in a variety ways for light and healthy eating.
