Academy of the Arts

With the opening of the Performing Arts Center in May 2016, Our Lady of Good Counsel High School is pleased to announce the creation of an Academy of the Arts, an opportunity to recognize our alumni and other members of the GC community who have distinguished themselves in the arts – both performing and visual. Please complete the nomination form and submit it to GJ Kissal '91, Director of Alumni Engagement, by April 3.

Please justify, in detail, why your nominee is deserving of inaugural membership in Our Lady of Good Counsel High School’s Academy of the Arts. You may submit programs, copies of speeches, photos, brochures, newspaper clippings, feature stories, etc., which help to present a more complete picture of the candidate’s qualifications. You may want to reach out to your nominee to gather additional support information.

Note: It is very important to include as thorough a history as possible for arts achievement. Please include awards, acknowledgments received, and relevant calendar dates.

NOMINATION DUE DATE - April 3

Nomination forms for the Academy of the Arts may be submitted at any time to the Alumni Office. Each year, submissions received by April, as well as all previous entries, will be considered for induction by the Selection Committee. Once a nomination has been submitted, it will be reviewed each year by the Committee.
