Description

This camp is for kids who love to have a blast and try new things. Each day, campers will enjoy beginner archery instruction and participate in wacky and wild games and activities.

Beginner Archery Details: 
Each day, campers will receive two archery lessons. At indoor lessons, campers will beat the heat, learn all about bows and arrows, and make new friends.

Skills include:

  • Archery range safety
  • Good form
  • Proper shooting technique
  • Equipment care
  • Archery games

During breaks from archery instruction, campers will participate in scavenger hunts & escape rooms, take on team challenges, make their own treats, and much, much more. 

What to bring

  • A lunch plan is available for purchase, or lunch can be brought to camp in a cooler
  • Full water bottle with camper's name on it

Laurie Bautista

Laurie Bautista is a certified USA Archery Level 2 instructor. She has been teaching archery since 2007 with the Girl Scouts and is currently the adult sponsor for the Good Counsel Archery Club. She enjoys helping students discover archery and develop their skills. Formerly an electrical engineer, Laurie is now the Operations Manager for the Good Counsel Performing Arts Center and Lighting Mentor for the GC Theatre Company.
