Description

This camp is designed for those looking to improve all areas of their volleyball skills. Players will learn all the fundamentals of the sport including serving, passing, setting, hitting, developing game strategies and an overall concept for future competition. This is the perfect camp for players with not as much participation in the sport or who want to improve the skills they already have.  Those who already have a basic or solid foundation of skills will build upon advancement of those skills according to the needs of the individual player.

What to bring

  • Volleyball knee pads, sneakers, a shirt that covers the collarbone, shorts/spandex, and towel
  • A lunch plan is available for purchase, or lunch can be brought to camp in a cooler
  • Full water bottle with camper's name on it

Camp Director: Stacy Filocco

Stacy Filocco ’05 has been coaching volleyball at all-levels for the past 15 years. Having started her career at Good Counsel, she went on to be a two-sport athlete in college and to develop her coaching skills across camps, club seasons, and middle school, high school, and college teams. She currently resides in Tampa, Florida where she is the assistant for the nationally ranked Berkeley Prep beach volleyball team. Stacy prides herself on helping players develop the fundamentals that they need to succeed at all levels, regardless of position or size. She maintains the love for the game that she developed at GC and looks forward to working with young players to achieve their potential on and off the court.
