Description

This new camp is the perfect combination for adventure-seeking kids. Each day, campers will enjoy beginner archery instruction and participate in wacky and wild games and activities.

Beginner Archery Details: 
At indoor archery instruction, campers will beat the heat, learn all about bows and arrows, and make new friends.

Skills include:

  • Archery range safety
  • Good form
  • Proper shooting technique
  • Equipment care
  • Archery games

What to bring

  • Lunch can be brought from home in a cooler, or a lunch plan is available for purchase two weeks before the start of camp
  • Full water bottle with camper's name on it

Laurie Bautista

Laurie Bautista is a certified USA Archery Level 2 instructor. She has been teaching archery since 2007 with the Girl Scouts and is currently the adult sponsor for the Good Counsel Archery Club. She enjoys helping students discover archery and develop their skills. Formerly an electrical engineer, Laurie is now the Operations Manager for the Good Counsel Performing Arts Center and Lighting Mentor for the GC Theatre Company.
