This year marks a meaningful milestone — and a farewell — as we host the final Steve Dean ’67 Golf Classic. We are incredibly grateful to all who have played, sponsored, volunteered, and supported the tournament over the years. The legacy it leaves, both in community spirit and scholarship dollars raised, is something we are deeply proud of.

We invite Good Counsel alumni, parents, and friends to come together and enjoy a day on the links to celebrate the legacy of the tournament and its lasting impact on our school community.

This year's event features the traditional shotgun-style 18-hole format, followed by a celebratory reception honoring all who have contributed to making the tournament a beloved tradition.

Tournament Schedule:

11:00 a.m. | Check-in Begins
12:00 p.m. | 18-hole Shotgun Start
5:00 p.m. | Reception

All proceeds benefit the endowed Steve Dean ’67 Scholarship, which supports one or more rising seniors who, like Steve, embody a love of Good Counsel through academics, social involvement, and athletics.
 
The tournament began when members of the Class of 1967 came together to honor their classmate Steve Dean '67, who passed away from complications related to cerebral palsy. Their efforts grew into a cherished tradition that has spanned four decades.
