Submitting Xaverian Service Hours

GC students will log their Required Xaverian Service Hours on their Mobile Serve accounts. Students are required to complete 20 service hours for their respective academic year and upload these hours onto Mobile Serve. Below are the instructions and tutorial reminders for how to log hours. Please note that while Veracross is still being rolled out as a system, Veracross service hours are not accurate and the most accurate log of your service hours is in MobileServe.


 

Friendly Service Reminders

  • Summer Service Hours (meaning all Service Hours done between June 1st and August 28th) are due by September 12, 2025.

  • 2025-2026 Academic Year Deadline for Grade 12: Monday, March 30, 2026

  • 2025-2026 Academic Year Deadline for Grades 9/10/11: April 24, 2026

  • Service Hours are always due within 30 days of completing the activity

  • Service with an emphasis on serving the marginalized in our community, the poor and most vulnerable. Please keep in mind that while civic and community service is great, they cannot be counted as Required Xaverian Service Hours.  

Mobile Serve

  • “What is it?” An online service-reporting portal.
  • “What’s the purpose?” To make it easier for you to track, record, submit Service Hours.
  • “Ok. So how do I use it?” Fill out the required info using the app and get the submitted log verified online.
  • “Verified? How exactly?” 
    • Signature by supervisor directly on your iPad/device, along with a photo of you doing the work AND/OR
    • Confirmation via an email that can be sent to the site supervisor for approval

Some IMPORTANT things to keep in mind:

  • Photos should not include clients.
  • Signing and emailed supervisors should still NOT be parents or family members
  • The five question prompt needs to be answered fully. Please be detailed and specific!

NOTE:  All verification methods require a device with the MobileServe app on it & access to the internet.
