Summer Service Programs:

Camp Good Counsel:

Camp Good Counsel is a five-week summer day camp founded in 1972 as a community outreach program of Good Counsel High School.  The program is open to boys and girls, ages 4-8 who are referred by their school counselors.  Each child is assigned a student volunteer (counselor) who participates with the child in all activities and is trained to provide encouragement and positive feedback.  This one-on-one relationship between camper and counselor is the focus of the program.  Counselors are supervised by a trained staff. Red Wiggler Community Farm:

Red Wiggler Community Farm in Germantown is a non-profit farm which provides meaningful jobs for adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers are needed to work along side staff and growers.  Volunteers are needed, in particular for this summer.
