Havana Nights | The 29th Annual Grand Celebration
Thank you to all who has supported the Grand Celebration. Havana Nights was If you couldn't join us this year, we hope to see you at next year's event!
Under the leadership of Sandra Boissonniere and after many months of preparation, the 29th Grand Celebration, Havana Nights, was held this past Saturday night. It was a resounding success. The Kane Center was transformed into a tropical paradise where guests enjoyed an impromptu dance-off and the resort-chic attire made us feel as if we had been transported to a steamy night in Havana, Cuba. The highlight of the evening was, by far, the outpouring of generosity during the Funds for Our Falcons live appeal.
In a creative video featuring hysterical performances from faculty, staff, and students, we made the case to make changes that will enhance the lunch experience in the servery and Dining Hall. Auction numbers were raised around the room and when the final bid was recorded we learned that our generous guests had donated over $93,000 for our Funds for Our Falcons! It was spectacular!
