Sweet Tooth Candy Making Workshop

Course Description: Learn how to make delicious and beautiful homemade chocolate truffles and candies for every day, special occasions or gift giving. Using quality ingredients and simple techniques, Lisa will demonstrate how to make chocolate truffle base, caramel and marshmallow which can all be used to build various specialty candies, as well as copies of favorites like "twix" and "butterfinger" bars. You will learn lots of fun and easy tips along the way, including how to make a quick stained glass lollipop (perfect kids' party favor), and how to embellish and wrap your treats. Yum!

Eastern Shore Cuisine and Beer Tasting

Course Description: Ask any angler and they'll tell you that seafood and a cold beer make for a great combination. And if you want to serve up your meal “Maryland style,” learn how to pair it with some of the Eastern Shore’s best brews. Corporate Partner, Larry Pendleton, from Old Line Fine Wine, Spirits & Bistro, will provide pours of his favorite selections brewed on the Eastern Shore, while you learn how to make delicious stuffed fish, fried oysters, and more.
