Directions to Olney Campus
Our Lady of Good Counsel High School is located at 17301 Old Vic Boulevard, off Maryland Route 108 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road) in Olney, Maryland, one and one-half miles east of Georgia Avenue (Route 97) and two miles west of New Hampshire Avenue (Route 650). Please park in the designated visitor lots in front of the school.
From Washington, DC:
Take Georgia Avenue (Route 97) North. Follow Georgia Avenue north approximately 18 miles to the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Route 108 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road), Turn right onto Route 108 and travel one and one-half miles to Old Vic Boulevard, which will be on the right.
Alternate Route from Washington, DC
Take New Hampshire Avenue (Route 650) east approximately 18 miles. Make a left on Norwood Road. Follow the road as it becomes Dr. Bird. Turn left onto Route 108 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road). Stay in the left lane and proceed to turn left at the next traffic light onto Old Vic Boulevard.
From Northern Virginia:
From 1-495 (Capital Beltway), take Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue, Route 185) toward Kensington and travel approximately eight miles to the intersection of Connecticut and Georgia Avenues (Route 97). Turn left onto Georgia Avenue and travel north five miles to the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Route 108 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road). Turn right onto Route 108 and travel one and one-half miles to Old Vic Boulevard, which will be on the right.
From Baltimore (downtown):
Take 1-95 south to Route 32 west. Follow Route 32 west to Route 108 west. Travel on Route 108 west for approximately 10 miles. Old Vic Boulevard is on the left (two miles from the intersection of Routes 108 and 650).
From Prince George's County:
From 1-495 (Capital Beltway), take Exit 31 north (Georgia Avenue, Route 97) toward Wheaton. Follow Georgia Avenue north approximately 13 miles to the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Route 108 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road). Turn right onto Route 108 and travel one and one-half miles to Old Vic Boulevard. Turn right onto Old Vic Boulevard.
From Frederick, Maryland:
Take 1-270 south to Exit 8 toward Shady Grove Road (local lanes). Merge onto 1-270 (local lanes) [Note: do not exit 1-270 at Exit 8-simply merge into the local lanes]. Take Exit 6 (West Montgomery Avenue, Route 28). Keep left at the fork in the ramp and follow West Montgomery Avenue (Route 28 east) through Rockville (approximately two and one-half miles). Turn left onto First Street, which will become Norbeck Road (Route 28 east). Turn left onto Georgia Avenue (Route 97) and travel north to the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Route 108 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road). Turn right onto Route 108 and travel one and one-half miles to Old Vic Boulevard. Turn right onto Old Vic Boulevard.
Drivers are strictly prohibited from using Bachelors Forest Road when entering and Our Lady of Good Counsel High School is located at 17301 Old Vic Boulevard, off Maryland Route 108 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road) in Olney, Maryland, one and one-half miles east of Georgia Avenue (Route 97) and two miles west of New Hampshire Avenue (Route 650).
