Financial Aid

Good Counsel participates in two need-based Financial Aid programs: The Archdiocesan Financial Aid and Good Counsel's Financial Aid Program.  Both of these programs use Private School Aid Service to process applications.

The tuition fee is set annually by the Good Counsel Board of Directors. Tuition does not cover the cost of books, uniforms or any extracurricular activities fees; however, five books are provided by the state at no charge to students. Tuition for the 2008 - 2009 school year is $14,900. Please note this tuition includes lunch daily. A registration fee is charged to all new students. A graduation fee is charged in the student's senior year.

Financial aid letters for current students will be mailed by the end of April.

Good Counsel offers three methods of tuition payment:

  • Full payment to the school by August 1. Your bill will be sent in July.
  • Enroll with FACTS Tuition Management, authorizing a direct debit from a bank account.
  • Enroll with FACTS Tuition Management, authorizing a direct debit from a credit card.

You choose a payment method on your Business Information Card when you first register at Good Counsel. During registration each March, returning students choose a payment method on their course selection sheet. Appropriate forms, as necessary, are then sent home based on your choice. Payments through FACTS may be spread over 10 months, from August through May.

When registering each March, a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a space for the upcoming school year.
