A Day in the Life

Good Counsel goes by a "Block Schedule" which means that each student has 4 class periods a day for about 90 minutes each.  Students alternate between "Blue" day and "Gold" day schedules and on alternating "A" and "B" weeks 2nd and 4th periods are reversed.

During class registration each year, students have the ability to select what classes they will take and how their schedules will be laid out for the coming year.  Most students have at least one study hall and their schedules allow for lunch in our dining hall during third period each day.

After school many students participate in extra-curricular activities that may include sports teams, clubs, plays, band, chorus and student government.  Good Counsel offers many ways for students to get involved and become a part of the Good Counsel community.
