About Us

Welcome to Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive Catholic community that inspires students to excel, serve, and love.

As a Xaverian Brothers school founded in 1958, we invite students to discover their own gifts, to nurture their passions, and to become the person God created them to be by placing their talents in the service of others. Our community is guided by the core values of simplicity, humility, compassion, zeal, and trust. They are not just words spoken, but truths lived.

Talented and mission-driven teachers, counselors and coaches prepare students for college, careers and purposeful lives. Good Counsel students find success both in and out of the classroom. Students excel in our Ryken learning differences program, in our nationally recognized STEM program, and in our International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement, and Honors programs. From dynamic music and theatre offerings to robust athletics, each student finds a place at Good Counsel where they develop their unique talents and thrive.

Good Counsel students respond to the issues of today, and they learn to recognize and address the challenges of the future. Students act locally and globally to improve the lives of others. Service strengthens humility, encourages simplicity and teaches selflessness.

Our students experience respect and care as children of God as they inspire love, develop compassion, and build trust.Forming enduring personal relationships is at the heart of a Xaverian education. Our diversity is our strength, and the relationships that form here deepen our sense of belonging.

Come and experience Good Counsel.

Go Falcons!
